Post number 100 - 3rd July 2014

Picking a handful of peas - which just got eaten straight from the pod!

Our cherry tree only produced a couple of cherries this year as we planted it while it was flowering - maybe we will get a few more next year?

Chilies growing in the poly-tunnel.

Today was sports day, we had a plant stall to try to sell some of our excess plants.  We sold tomatoes, cucumbers plants, courgette and aubergine, chili plants and a couple of pumpkins.

Some of our onions drying in the poly-tunnel

Garlic drying in the poly-tunnel - we got quite a crop this year.  There are plans to make some pasta sauce later in the year, and some more of our delicious garlic oil.

Lettuce growing in raised beds.

Our first punnet of strawberries from our strawberry barrel.

Our wildflower bed looks fantastic at the moment and is alive with bees.
