The EPICC Garden Project

We aim to develop our school garden to educate our students about where their food comes from, and to promote sustainable ways of producing food. Our students are given the opportunity to gain knowledge, expertise and life skills through hands-on, skills based learning. The work we do with out students in the garden is a vital vehicle which our staff use to build relationships, deliver nurture sessions and re-engage our students who at times can experience barriers to their learning.

19th March - moving things from the demolition site

Transplanting the daffodil bulbs from the demolition site.

More crocuses coming up through the soil in our flower bed.

Planting some Primulas in the flower bed.

We planted up a barrel we discovered with some lavender and some flowers.
